We're not a warehouse. We're a family with a roaster.
My mother ran a coffee company outside Des Moines, and I started tasting alongside her at fourteen — learning what a good roast smells like right before it goes too far. Years later my wife Jenny and I bought an old church in Port Wing, a 1999 Probat L12, and started our own roasting business.
Everything we make gets roasted to order in small batches, then shipped straight to you. The water up here comes from an artesian well, the winters are long, and the coffee is the kind of thing that makes the cold worth it. That's the whole operation. Just our little family and a big dream.
